On Saturday, April 29th, self appointed street cleaner, Vietnam Veteran Raheem, in the neighborhood of 297 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Jersey City, received support from the I love Greenville committee and volunteers during Keep Jersey City Beautiful’s Citywide Clean-up. This event was an opportunity for residents to come out and meet their neighbors while improving the conditions of their community, as part of the Great American Clean Up.
Masjid Muhammad also provided space for residents to gain nutritional information provided by Garden State Episcopal Community Development Corporation and Cooking Matters, reaching over fifteen adult residents.
