GG’s Girls Night Out, with host Gwendolyn Green, was a lively event that brought a conglomeration of local business owners together to bring a night of relaxation, bonding, and fun, for their current and potential patrons under one roof. GG’s Girls Night Out was the perfect introduction to these exquisite businesses as they presented their talents and products.
Opening with an array of display tables (pictured below) presenting soothing shea butters, imported dresses, decorative handmade pillows and dolls, delicious treats, complimentary food and drinks, customized nail polishes, and products for a women’s self care and beautification for attendees to receive free samples, enter raffles, and signup for classes to learn a new skill. This girls night out also introduced the attendees to the fabulous hidden businesses that are housed at JSquare Emporium located at 140 Sip Avenue in Jersey City.
Some of the businesses attendees were able to visit offered: community services for seniors at R&M Community Services, affordable photo packages and passport photos at Keepsake Photo Creations, handmade hats and accessories at the Hat Studio, custom made scented candles at Wax Kandy Candle Co., handmade dolls at Angela Hugs for All/Hewn Arts Center and an area to take some time for a brief meditation and mini yoga stretch with, emcee for the night, Guru Pamela Roundtree (New Body.New Mind.New Living)
While enjoying the many goodies each business had to offer the attendees were entertained by two dance performances; an intriguing bellydance performance by Tango Kin, and an energizing African Fusion dance performance by Nia Reid Allen founder of Myrtle & Flossie which brought the evening to an end.
While some of the businesses present are not housed at JSquare Emporium they are local Jersey City businesses and can be reached through their websites via the hyperlinks in this post.
