On Saturday, February 25th, the Sultry Sisters and Faze Two held part two of their three part Level Up Women’s Brunch Series.
This event, hosted by Rhonda Moore and Alisa Walker, was filled with non-stop motivational and inspirational real life stories from authors, poetesses, entrepreneurs, and artists.
During the brunch Poetess Ortavia “Wisdom” Jackson performed her latest spiritual poetry, authors Marsha Trice (Give Me My Flowers Now), Gwendolyn Lester-Carson (Standing On Trial…I need You To Survive), and Angela Evans (Path to Still Waters) spoke about their books and how their own life experiences have helped them to be the inspirational women they are today. Attendees also enjoyed a light brunch served by Free Teens’ mentees, and the opportunity to support local entrepreneurs Cindy Blue and Lashonda M. Kelly.
The goal of the Level Up Women’s Brunch series is to empower women to overcome their losses and hurts so they may be able to explore their own strengths in order to move forward with confidence and encouragement in order to stay focused on putting her own well-being first.
