Young Women With Purpose Honors Supporters

On Friday, August 19th the Young Women With Purpose founder Angela Evans-Salaam held her first gala to honor community leaders and entrepreneurs that have influenced her as she continues her journey.
The gala began with the recognition of the YWWP Board Members, and was peppered with activities and mini-contests, giving YWWP members and guests the opportunity to win prizes. One of the prizes won was a health and wellness gift basket from local entrepreneur Danielle Worth. Ending with the community honoree award ceremony.
Among the honorees was Assemblywomen Angela McKnight, Winston C. Trumpet of Rising Tide Capital, Lisa Walker of the Sultry Sisters, Brian Minus of Gentlemen Attire, Leslie Morris, Alvin Petty the Director of the Mary McLeod Bethune Life Center, Pastor Vicky Webb, and Entrepreneur Makeba Green. Each of the honorees were also given a Citation from Assemblywoman Angela McKnight, and keynote speaker Donovan Coney was given a Resolution certificate.
